• Lethbridge Therapeuti­c Riding Associatio­n is bringing two of their therapeuti­c horses to Galt Gardens every second Friday from 1:00pm - 2:30 pm for all park visitors to enjoy an unmounted equine wellness experience. Several AHS support and outreach teams will be walking along with the horses and LTRA equine profession­als, and are available to talk about mental health and addiction issues, and access to community resources

• Making Herstory: Roman Catholic Women Priests in Lethbridge panel discussion 7 p.m. Friday April 29 at Southminst­er United RCWP Canada is a movement of renewal in the RC Church. • Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organizati­on Drive Happiness Program volunteer drivers take seniors to their medical appointmen­ts, to pick up groceries or take them to important life activities. Many seniors in our community are facing extreme loneliness due to the lack of accessible transporta­tion. Even one ride can make a difference. • The MCC Thrift Shop, operated by the Mennonite Central Committee, is a registered charity and is located at 1117 2a Avenue North. Your generous contributi­ons raise money to directly support poverty reduction in Lethbridge and abroad. • Interfaith Food Bank Seed to Supper - a beginner’s guide to lo-cost vegetable gardening. This is a five week course, Tuesday evenings, April 26 to May 24, 6:30-8:00pm. Learn to build healthy soil, plan your space, choose your crops, improve growth, and end with harvesting your efforts to be used at your table.
