It was certainly nice to see so many of you out enjoying a movie at the theater over the past long weekend. Hollywood, after a COVID induced drought and an attempt at streaming content into the home, is finally releasing a plethora of movies that people want to see – and they are not just superhero movies!

We open two films this weekend. First out of the gate is ““Big George Foreman: The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the World.” 129 minutes in length, and rated PG with a violence warning - it will show daily at 12:35, 3:40 and 6:45pm.

“Based on the remarkable true story of one of the greatest comebacks of all time and the transformational power of second chances. Fueled by an impoverished childhood, Foreman channeled his anger into becoming an Olympic Gold medalist and World Heavyweight Champion, followed by a near-death experience that took him from the boxing ring to the pulpit. But when he sees his community struggling spiritually and financially, Foreman returns to the ring and makes history by reclaiming his title, becoming the oldest and most improbably

World Heavyweight Boxing Champion ever. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker George Tillman Jr. from a story by Dan Gordon and Frank Baldwin & George Tillman Jr, and a screenplay by Baldwin & Tillman, the film stars Khris Davis (Judas and the Black Messiah) as Foreman and also stars Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker as Foreman’s trainer and mentor Doc Broadus.” – Sony Pictures.

An action/adventure comedy is next in “Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” This film is 134 minutes long and is rated PG. Showing daily at 12:30, 3:35, 6:40 and 8:50pm.

“A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.” – Paramount Pictures.
