• Shaughness­y Community Associatio­n will be hosting their monthly Pancake Breakfast (cost $5.00) from 8 -11 a.m. this Saturday. Secondhand Treasures rooms will be open during Pancake Breakfast and on Tuesdays and Thursday 9 a.m. -2 p.m.

• Provincial One Act Festival will be held May 26 & 27 the Yates Theatre. Following their very successful Centennial Celebratio­n last month, Playgoers of Lethbridge are partnering with the Alberta Drama Festival Associatio­n to host the 2023 Provincial One Act Festival on Friday May 26 (7.30 pm) and Saturday May 27 ( 2 pm & 7.30 pm), at the beautiful Yates Theatre. Two days of exciting short plays from all over the province, with winning plays from Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie, Red Deer, High River, Medicine Hat and Taber. Tickets available at the door. 5km walk, jog or run. Our Parkrun is one of about 2100 Parkruns held around

• The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is now recruiting volunteers to make a difference in our river valley this spring and summer with Coulee Cleanup, Shoreline Cleanup, and Invasive Weed Pulls. • Target Hunger is looking for volunteers for the annual food drive for the city’s food banks on June 10. There are about 85 Routes still to filled by June 2 for Yellow Bag distributi­on. • Lethbridge Lions Club annual Walk for Dog Guides is being held on Saturday May 27 at Hendersen Lake at the Gunnery Point Picnic shelter. Come join us to raise funds to help provide Dog Guides, Service, Hearing, SeizureRes­ponse, Autism Assistance, Diabetic alert, and Facility support. Light lunch is available.
