Hoping FOR A HOME

MATCHING PETS WITH PEOPLE

- This public service feature runs each Saturday in the Lethbridge Herald.

Meet Koopa! His mom and siblings were recently adopted, so Koopa is hoping he will be next to find his forever family. He is currently in a foster home, and his foster shared some information with us.

“He wants to be with young cats who want to play. He tries to engage the adult cats here. Peaches will play with him the most.

He often has the zoomies.

He loves his human playing with him. He bounces all over the furniture, cat trees, dog stairs.”

If you can provide this fun loving, energetic, playful, sweet kitten with his forever home, please visit our website and fill out an application at thelastchancecatranch.com.

This handsome older Shih Tzu gentleman is in search of a new home as his person has gone into a care facility and is no longer able to keep him. Dallas may be a senior citizen but other than the usual aches and pains that doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s a happy boy who loves everyone and gets along well with dogs, cats and kids.

Dallas does require a home that will take him in to have his face groomed every few weeks. If left too long, his weepy eyes create a lot of discomfort when his fur around his eyes in tangled. Dallas and his groomer (who just happens to be his amazing foster mom) have the process down pat and it takes no time at all.

If you are looking to add to your family and give Dallas the amazing happy ending he deserves please visit www.windycitycaninerescue.com and follow the adoption process.

Hello, I’m a rabbit named Moose! I am brother to Winston, who is also available for adoption. We are senior citizen bunnies, around 9 years old! Don’t let my age fool you, though. When I am in a free roam area, I go crazy with zoomies! My favorite place to be petted is on my forehead between my eyes. I love to chew toys, cardboard, and sticks, so make sure to have plenty on hand for me! I am used to dogs (as long as they don’t have a high prey drive). I am adorable addition for a loving home! If you would like to speed date him to your current single bunno, apply for bonding on Archie’s Angels Rabbit Rescue’s website. If you would like to apply to adopt Moose, head over to aarr.ca.

We can’t think why the two Nut siblings (Brazil and his sister, Hazel) aren’t yet adopted. Now thirteen months old, with orange tabby fur that almost shimmers, Brazil was the biggest of his litter, but has also been somewhat reserved compared to the others. He doesn’t hide (well, he may when he’s new to a home, as almost every cat does) but he might come across as a little reticent. Even so, Brazil likes his foster-humans, and enjoys his time with them. And he definitely delights in the company of other cats, playing with both those older than he, and younger. In fact, he’s walked right up to a newly rescued cat and wanted to be friends. He’d make a great pal for a lonely feline. And once he becomes accustomed to a new home and new people, he will make a great pal for a lucky human. Contact PAW at 403328-6700 or go online at pawsociety.com. Make yourself lucky by meeting Brazil!
