Local poll results by the numbers

Thousands of Lethbridge residents voted to re-elect both incumbent candidates in Lethbridge West and Lethbridge East ridings.

This is how local voters cast their ballots. In Lethbridge East 21,749 votes were cast, with 27 locations reporting on Election Day.

· UCP’s Nathan Neudorf won 11,003 votes, with 4,382 cast in advance voting and 483 cast by special ballots.

· NDP’s Rob Miyashiro won 10,258 votes, with 5,016 cast in advanced voting and 520 cast by special ballots.

· Liberal Helen McMenamin won 488 votes, with 157 cast in advanced voting and 5 cast by special ballots.

In Lethbridge West 22,417 votes were cast, with 17 locations reporting on Election Day.

· NDP’s Shannon Phillips won 12,083 votes, with 6,083 cast in advanced voting and 413 cast by special ballots.

· UCP’s Cheryl Seaborn won 9,534 votes, with 3,971 cast in advanced voting and 212 cast by special ballots.

· Alberta Party Braham Luddu won 425 votes, with 155 cast in advanced voting and 2 by special ballots.

· Alberta Liberal Pat Chizek won 375 votes, with 133 cast in advanced voting and 7 cast by special ballots.

Province-wide 1,763,441 valid votes were cast with 1,887 locations reporting on Election Day. 932,747 votes were cast on Monday, 755,840 votes were cast in advance voting, and 50,962 were cast by special ballot. 745 ballots were declined, and 8,138 ballots were rejected.

· United Conservati­ve Party had 927,453 votes. · New Democratic Party had 776,238 votes. · Alberta Party had 12,715 votes

· Alberta Liberal Party had 4,282 votes.
