• The Lethbridge Military Museum at the Vimy Ridge Armoury, Lethbridge Airport (337 Stubb Ross Road) is open to the public each Wednesday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Special arrangemen­ts for other times/days can be made by calling 403-328-6196. There is no cost for admittance.

• The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is now recruiting volunteers to make a difference in our river valley this spring and summer with Coulee Cleanup, Shoreline Cleanup, and Invasive Weed Pulls. Participat­ion is an effective way to have a positive environmen­tal impact and increase connection with our community. • Target Hunger is looking for volunteers for the annual food drive for the city’s food banks on June 10. There are about 85 Routes still to filled by June 2 for Yellow Bag distributi­on. • St. Andrews Presbyteri­an Church holding a fundraiser including garage sale items, baking, furniture, and D.I.Y. tiles. Supplies for crafts, quilting, and parties. Selection of new linens. Hotdog lunch is available. Saturday June 3 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - 1818 5 Ave S.

• Motorcycle Poker Run Women in the Wind, SunWind Riders Chapter is hosting a Motorcycle Poker Run on Saturday, June 3, with proceed going to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre. Registrati­on is 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Honkers Pub.

• Shaughness­y Community Associatio­n will be undertakin­g a playground assembly this Wednesday to Saturday 8-5 PM daily. Volunteers are welcome but must be over 18 years old due to insurance policy.
