Hello, I’m a rabbit named Dawg!

My mom was pregnant with me and my two siblings when she was surrendered by a meat breeder. We were all the fattest babies ever and have grown really fast! I am very sweet and love attention. I am not shy—I’m quite friendly and social. I am still considered a baby, so I have lots of energy. I would make a terrific addition to a loving family! If you would like to speed date Dawg to your current single bunno, apply for bonding on Archie’s Angels Rabbit Rescue’s website. If you would like to apply to adopt, head over to aarr.ca.

Dabney is a stray who’d been cadging some meals from kind-hearted humans.

This year old grey tabby had been in a few scraps, as some superficial gouges and scratches prove, but is quite socialised, so much so that he didn’t need to be trapped; he walked into a carrier when a dish of food was placed in it. Though wary of his foster-guardian, Dabney soon started enjoying pets and strokes, enough to generate a pleasant, rumbling purr. He likes to play – a string-toy is his favourite so far – and has the typical agility of a youngster. Despite having lived outside for a while, his hygiene is good, and as his wounds, all minor, heal, he is literally licking himself into shape. Dabney is wary of other cats, but not a fighter. His experiences with fellow felines appear nonetheless to have been unpleasant, and the integration into the population of his fosterhome is progressing gently. But we believe this is just a matter of time and patience. In the meanwhile, Dabs is showing himself a smart and active young mancat. Contact the PAW Society at 403-328-6700 or online at pawsociety.com. Dabney isn’t ready for adoption yet, but we think you’ll be glad when he is.

Can you handle the cuteness overload?!? Meet Luv and Tru! Luv is male, grey, and

Tru is female, grey tabby. They were found outside in a small town struggling to say safe from the elements and predators. Currently they’re being loved and spoiled in their foster home.

These kittens are growing like weeds. Tru’s personality shines throughshe’s spicey and daring. Luv’s a bit more reserved and and loves a good snuggle. If you can provide these adorable kittens with their forever home, visit thelastchancecatranch. com and fill out an application!

Igor is a young (around a year old) mixed breed dog. This boy does everything with the utmost enthusiasm and he’s a whole lot of fun. He loves to chew on bones and has discovered that playing tug with other dogs is su- per fun. He loves his food and with his enthusiasm for life, training should be fairly straight forward as he aims to please and the treats that come with training is the icing on the cake. For such a large, active boy, he’s great on the leash, is super sweet and loves everybody he meets! He is also a great movie partner - the moment the tv goes on, he settles onto the couch and stares at the screen! Contact Windy City Canine Rescue at www.windycitycaninerescue.com
