• The Lethbridge Military Museum at the Vimy Ridge Armoury, Lethbridge Airport (337 Stubb Ross Road) is open to the public each Wednesday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Special arrangemen­ts for other times/days can be made by calling 403-892-6531. There is no cost for admittance.

• Blankets for Canada: Lethbridge meets every Thursday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 at Southminst­er United Church. We welcome volunteers to knit, crochet or sew blankets to join us. Let’s keep Lethbridge warm this winter. We also welcome donations of yarn or material. Drop off at Michaels or Southminst­er.

• Lethbridge Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous meets Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 a.m. via conference call. Please call Josephine, 587-821-2288 in advance for details.

• Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs every Thursday from noon - 1 p.m. at the LSCO (Lethbridge Senior Citizen Organizati­on) at 500 11 St. S. • The Playgoers of Lethbridge AGM - The Playgoers of Lethbridge will hold their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, February 27. The meeting will commence at 7:00 pm in the meeting room at Casa (230 8th Street South). Annual membership must be paid prior to the meeting in order to be eligible to vote. • Lethbridge Steel Women’s tackle football winter camp is hosting a free 6-week camp open to all women 16 and up. No previous football experience or knowledge required. Guest speaker will be Violet Meekma who will share her experience­s as a Provincial Court Judge in rural Saskatchew­an along with various aspects of the judicial system.
