Hoping FOR A HOME

MATCHING PETS WITH PEOPLE

-

You know what would be the perfect addition to these snowy days while you are cuddled up inside on the couch? Donny!! This guy joined us a few weeks ago, had his vet check this week and his teeth all cleaned up so now his all ready to find a home of his own! Donny is a spry 7 year old pug mix who loves walks, is an expert level couch potato and would make the perfect addition to any home. He is housetrained, does not require a to be crated as he is a perfect gentleman when left alone and is an all around great guy. He would prefer a home with older dog savvy kids. To apply to adopt Donny please visit our website and follow the adoption process www.windycitycaninerescue.com

This is Bear! He was dumped outside of town and eventually showed up on an acreage with an injured leg. Once he was caught and taken to the vet it was discovered that his entire leg was full of infection. He had either gotten caught in something or had been injured by a predator. He was so tired that once he came to us, he slept for three days straight. If you want a low energy cat, Bear is your new best friend. We think that once Bear came in he decided that having meals placed in front of him and sleeping on soft beds was the absolute best way to live. Bear is a calm, quiet, gentle cat who loves to be pet. He will let you pick him up and cuddle him as long as it is in a calm and quiet environment. He enjoys just laying in your arms with his little head against your chest, listening to your heartbeat. Bear doesn’t mind other cats and isn’t bothered by much. He would benefit from living with a cat his age or a bit older who can dote on him and teach him a little more about how wonderful life can be as a cat. If you think you could be the one for Bear please visit www.thelastchancecatranch.com to submit an application.

Hello, we are Polly (black and white female) and Snowflake ( white male), an older bonded pair looking for our retirement home! Snowflake, is the typical lop – sassy, moody, but a lover of attention. Polly, on the other hand, is little, sweet, quiet, and follows closely behind Snowflake. Don’t let our age fool you, we have lots of spunk and love left to give! We have been around cats and children, making us an amazing addition to many lifestyles. We have also been successful in a free roaming environment, so our ideal home would be one that could provide us with lots of space!, If you would like to apply to adopt these two, head over to Archie’s Angels Rabbit Rescue’s website aarr.ca.

Do you think these two are sisters? Azreal (left) and Lickorish (right) are four month old siblings ready to start their lives in permanent homes. They are active and playful, Azreal being noted for her curiosity, always looking for the next thing to investigate; Lickorish loves to chase and pounce on any cat willing to have fun with her. They do not live together, so they are not bonded; they can be adopted separately, though if they go as a pair, they would soon become good friends. Both are well socialized to people and to other felines. Whether together or separate, the sisters would be excellent companions to resident cats, and would especially benefit from a lonely, slightly older cat who could impart his knowledge to youngsters. Interested in a life-long pal – or two? Contact PAW at 403328-6700 or go online at pawsociety.com. Azreal and Lickorish can’t wait for their new adventures to begin!
