• Lethbridge Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous meets Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 a.m. via conference call. Please call Josephine, 587-821-2288 in advance for details.
• Shaughnessy Community Association is hosting their monthly Pancake Breakfast (cost $5.00) from 8 AM until 11 AM this morning at the Shaughnessy Community Hall 133-3Rd Street. Secondhand Treasures rooms will be open during Pancake Breakfast
• Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre Monday Jam Sessions are back each week from 9:30-noon. Open to all. Non members pay $3.00 per person.
• Ukrainian War Memorial Day commemorative events will begin at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church 643 13 Street North today at 10 a.m. with a memorial service for all fallen military and civilians. Then at 5 p.m. the Evening of Remembrance will be held at the Multicultural Center at 421 6 Ave. South. Tickets are available at the Multicultural Center. Entrance is free. (Please note that some documentary materials have sensitive content.)
• Ability Skate - Dedicated sensory-friendly public skating program specially designed for individuals with disabilities. Sundays at 1:45 - 3:15 PM and Tuesdays at 1 - 2 PM at the Civic Ice Arena - 905 6 Ave S
• Tom Price Band will be playing at Holiday Bowl on Saturday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m.
• Ss Peter & Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church welcomes everyone to Divine Liturgy Sundays at 10 a.m. The church is located on the corner of 12B Street and 7 Avenue North. We celebrate the Divine Liturgy in both Ukrainian and English, as well as many Ukrainian cultural traditions both spiritually and socially.
• The Playgoers of Lethbridge AGM - The Playgoers of Lethbridge will hold their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, February 27. The meeting will commence at 7:00 pm in the meeting room at Casa (230 8th Street South). Annual membership must be paid prior to the meeting in order to be eligible to vote. • The Horticultural Society of Lethbridge and Southern Alberta will be holding its monthly session on Monday February 26 in the Public Library Gallery at 6:30 p.m. Michael (Mikey) Ward will be presenting “From grass, to gardens, to your glass; Vinifying at home - an introduction to our journey from a lawn to garden, growing fruits for fermentation, and the process of fermenting for fun.
• The Buddhist Temple of Southern
Alberta will be conducting an introduction to Buddhism course. This class will occur for six consecutive weeks starting March 16 and ending April 20. Three sessions will be on general Buddhism and 3 sessions will cover Jodo Shinshu Buddhism (Pure Land school) on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. You can attend the sessions in person or via zoom. This class is offered for free but donations are always gratefully accepted.

• U of L Brain Awareness Week Chelsea Ekstrand, an assistant professor in the department of neuroscience will be giving a public talk on “The Neuroscience of ‘Normal’: How do our brains shape who we are?” at 6 p.m. on February 28 at the Galt Museum Viewing Gallery.
