Sky and Table Event Group takes the stress out of event planning

-

When it comes to planning an event there are many areas that require attention, and the Sky and Table Event Group has demonstrated they have what it takes to be able to help the Lethbridge community by being recognized in three different Best of the Best categories.

The Norland Historic Estate has been selected as Best of the Best place to have a wedding; Lethbridge Event Rentals as Best of the Best event planner; and LA Chefs won third place in the caterer category.

Sky and Table director of sales Marie Galeana, says they are able to support their clients with each and every detail of their event planning journey, large and small, by offering a variety of services through their multiple businesses and partnerships.

“What has set us apart is we basically can take you through the event experience from start to finish,” Galeana says. “We have various venues that we manage that can fit everyone’s budget. We’re able to offer design, decor and planning, and off-site or at venue catering services.”

She says they take the stress out of the planning, and they make everything simple and easy, which is reflected by Lethbridge Event Rentals being considered best event planner.

“We are able to take someone’s vision and draw up a map of it, a design for it, and also basically acquire whatever they need to make that vision come true.”

Galeana says that allows them to be precise and crafted with their clients’ vision, to make their day unique to them in a special way.

One of those ways is by helping them select the perfect venue, and Lethbridge has voted the Norland Historic Estate as their preferred place to have a wedding.

“It is sort of a southern plantation style home that you don’t see in this neck of the woods. It has a lot of historic character and a lot of old charm, and it’s just hidden within a forest of trees that just makes it the most beautiful and romantic place to have an event.”

When it comes to LA Chefs winning third place in the caterer category, their history as a catering company in Lethbridge and southern Alberta runs deep.

“We began as a home-based catering company in 1997, and we quickly moved on to take on venues,” says Galeana.

That includes acquiring the Norland Historic Estate in 2017, Lethbridge Event Rentals in 2019 and the Countryside Barn in 2020, which led to the formation of Sky and Table Event Group to reflect their growth as something more than just catering and event planning.

“Sky and table event group reflects the company we’ve become. Sky represents the limitless possibilities we provide to our clients, as well as our home base of Lethbridge with the expansive sky as our backdrop. “Table brings us down to earth again and reflects the practical and humble nature of our people and strong work ethic.”

Galeana says they really appreciate the community for supporting them and voting for them and look forward to serving them for many more years.
