• Southminster’s 17th Annual Used Book Sale in Southminster Hall, 1011 – 4th Ave South today from 5pm to 8pm and tomorrow from 10am to 2pm. All books $3 each or 5 for $10. Puzzles too! $5 per puzzle. If you have any donations of books and puzzles, we will gladly accept them at the church office until the sale.
• World Day of Prayer, a women led, global, ecumenical movement, will be hosting a service prepared by the Christian Women of Palestine, today at 2 p.m. at McKillop United Church 2329 15 Ave. South. For more info visit wwdp.org.uk
• Barons Legion is open Friday evenings 6:30-9:30 at 205 Main St. Come out to socialize, play darts, shuffleboard, crib, board games, etc. Open to Legion & Ladies Auxiliary members and invited guests.
• Lethbridge Toy Show and Sale bringing you comics, collectable cards, antique toys, retro toys and so much more! Child entrepreneurs will be promoting their unique small business too! Freeze dried treats, cotton candy, etc. for those with a sweet tooth! Get your picture taken with characters and superheros. Amazing door prizes! Admission is $2 - five and under free. March 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rocky Mountain Turf Club Event Centre - 3401 Parkside Drive South.
• The Lethbridge Photography Club is hosting its annual Photofusion event on March 4 & 5 from 7 - 9 p.m. each evening. The event will be held In the Casa community room and is open to the public. Photofusion highlights the photographic talent of members of the club. There is no fee to attend and there will be light refreshments available.
• Alcoholics Anonymous - is drinking causing problems in your life? There is a solution! Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem. • Conversations About Global Advocacy on behalf of the Campus Collective Centre and LPIRG, a group of students are organizing a student advocacy conference focusing primarily on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Palestine, set for Saturday from 10 AM - 3 PM at the Science Atrium, University of Lethbridge.
