This week we are excited to open three diverse films. One premiere (“Drive Away Dolls”), one animated family film (“Migration”), and one action film based on a book (“Argylle”). Be sure to check out our website for the most up to date showtimes.

“Drive Away Dolls” is rated 14A with warnings for sexual content, nudity, and violence; has a running time of 84 minutes and plays daily.

“Written by Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke, this comedy caper follows Jamie, an uninhibited free spirit bemoaning yet another breakup with a girlfriend, and her demure friend Marian who desperately needs to loosen up. In search of a fresh start, the two embark on an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee, but things quickly go awry when they cross paths with a group of inept criminals along the way. Directed by Ethan Coen.” – Universal Pictures

“Migration” is rated PG, has a running time of 83 minutes, and plays daily.

“Illumination, creators of the blockbuster Minions, Despicable Me, Sing and The Secret Life of Pets comedies, invites you to take flight into the thrill of the unknown with a funny, feathered family vacation like no other in the actionpacked new original comedy, Migration.” – Universal Pictures

“Argylle” is rated PG with warnings for violence and coarse language, it has a running time of 139 minutes and plays daily.

“Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World franchise) is Elly Conway, the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels, whose idea of bliss is a night at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie. But when the plots of Elly’s fictional books-which center on secret agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate--begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past. Accompanied by Aidan (Oscar winner Sam Rockwell), a cat-allergic spy, Elly (carrying Alfie in her backpack) races across the world to stay one step ahead of the killers as the line between Elly’s fictional world and her real one begins to blur.” – Universal Pictures

This past Sunday was the 96th Academy Awards AKA the Superbowl of movies. “Oppenheimer” was the big winner of the night taking home seven academy awards. These awards included best picture, best director, best actor, and best supporting actor. This was one of the best awards shows we have seen in a long time. The show started an hour earlier than usual, had a good pace, and included lots of fun nods to Hollywood throughout the evening. My daughters’ favorite part of the night was Ryan Gosling performing his song “I’m Just Ken” from the “Barbie” movie and getting the whole audience involved. It was also great to see some blockbuster films get nominated (and win) and not just the more artsy films that the masses do not enjoy.

Allow us to entertain you!
