• The Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta introducti­on to Buddhism course for six consecutiv­e weeks starting March 16 and ending April 20. Three sessions will be on general Buddhism and 3 sessions will cover Jodo Shinshu Buddhism (Pure Land school) on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. You can attend the sessions in person or via zoom. • U of L Brain Awareness Week events wrap up today as the Canadian Centre for Behavioura­l Neuroscien­ce will host an open house from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. at the U of L Science Commons building, including a kids’ room with brainrelat­ed games and activities (and some real brains!), guided tours of the Science Common Building and the labs, as well as an organizati­onal booth fair with local brain-related organizati­ons such as Lethbridge Dopamine Boxing, Buds in Bloom, Chess for Life and many more!
