Two people have been charged after a man was assaulted with a knife, held against his will and robbed.

The charged individuals are a 21-yearold female and 41-year-old male.

Franklin Hugh Taylor Pantherbone, 41, of Lethbridge, is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful confinement, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and robbery.

Kristen Ariel Healy, 21, of Lethbridge, is charged with robbery.

Pantherbone and Healy are remanded in custody. Pantherbone is scheduled to next appear in court April 2 and Healy March 25.

Lethbridge police say that on March 14 about 1:43 p.m., police responded to a report of an injured male. Investigation determined that earlier in the day the male had attended a residence along the 500 block of 24 Street South and entered a motorhome parked at the property.

He was speaking with several people inside when a physical altercation occurred. The victim was beaten and tied up, preventing him from leaving. He sustained a knife wound to his face and was choked before being released approximately one hour later. The subjects also stole personal property belonging to the victim, including his bike, cell phone and bank card. The parties involved are known to one another and the incident was precipitated by a dispute over stolen property.

Later in the day police located a male subject who was arrested without incident. During a search incidental to arrest, the male was found in possession of the victim’s bank card. On March 15, police located a female subject who was arrested without incident.
