MATCHING PETS WITH PEOPLE

-

Jenny is a young (4 month old or so) french bulldog x beagle. She is spirited and fearless and bursting with energy and sass. She’s all about exploring and having fun, whether it’s chewing, wrestling, jumping or indulging in every puppy pastime imaginable. When it’s naptime, she’s all for cuddles, but only on her terms. Jenny is still adjusting to alone time in her kennel, albeit with some vocal protests. Despite her rough start battling parvo, Jenny’s zest for life shines through, proving she’s a true fighter with an insatiable criousity and boundless playfulness. Meet George Clooney! This handsome black and white tomcat was found in the very same spot a few of our other cats have hunkered down. Thankfully, he wasn’t in too bad of shape when he arrived. If you’re looking for a cat with a personality that’s larger than life then George is the boy for you. George is a very chatty boy, especially if he notices that you’re busy with something else. He will call to you, incessantly, until you look his way and give him a pet. Additionally, he will hop up onto the table and walk all over whatever you’re working on while rubbing up against your face just to remind you about how cute he is. But despite how many times he shows you his belly, beware - it’s a trap! Touching the belly will immediately engage hunting mode and your hand will become his prey and he will feel very proud that he tricked you. He does however enjoy being picked up so he can headbutt your face! George gets along with cats that know how to respect his personal space but has trouble with dominant cats. He usually prefers to keep to himself or hang around the humans so he would also do great as an only cat. If you think you could give this spunky boy his forever home please submit an application for him at www.thelastchancecatranch.com

Esmé certainly isn’t the frightened young girlcat rescued from a campground two years ago. This small torbie, who will be four in

May, had trouble trusting humans after being abandoned by them, and who can blame her? Now, it’s a different story. Yes, she is still a bit scared of being approached from above – not unique to her - but once you pick her up and hold her,

Esmé melts into your arms. She really does love the attention. And she loves play-time, too, whether it’s with a string-toy or the old moving-lump-underthe-blanket game. And other cats? She and another girlcat, since adopted, became playmates, and she would like another gentle, easy-going cat for the same kind of fun. Once shy of almost everything, Esmé has become a confident and fun-loving feline, a smart little girl whom her fosterguardian finds ‘easy to take care of’. Call PAW at 403-328-6700 or go online at pawsociety. com: Esmé’s come a long way, so take her just a little farther – into your life.

Hi, I’m Amidala! I am one of 9 babies that were rescued in Coaldale, along with our momma! Momma has been adopted already because she is such a sweetheart, and us babies are no different! We love to be petted, love to explore, love to chew cardboard, and love to re-arrange our spaces. I was named after a female Star Wars character. I am slightly shyer than some of my siblings, but still very friendly. If you would like to apply to adopt this sweetie, head over to Archie’s Angels Rabbit Rescue’s website aarr.ca.
