Come and check the selection from 9:30-3:30 Monday to Friday. • Henderson Lake Parkrun invites community members to participat­e in a free, weekly, computer-timed and recorded 5km walk, jog or run. Our Parkrun is one of about 2100 Parkruns held around the world. Dogs on leashes and kids in strollers are welcome too. The Henderson Lake Parkrun starts at the Kinsmen Picnic Shelter at 9 a.m. every Saturday. Complete the simple registrati­on (once in your life) at Parkrun.ca.

• Alcoholics Anonymous - is drinking causing problems in your

life? There is a solution! Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requiremen­ts to participat­e. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem. • Southern Alberta Art Gallery invites you to join us this Friday from 6 -7 p.m. for the second of our multi-session speaker series Navigating Two Systems with John Chief Calf. John will share some

of the conflicts he has faced when navigating the two cultures and how these challenges come to a head when the cultures collide and clash. This event is free to attend. Light refreshmen­ts will be provided. More info can be found at www.saag.ca/events

• Mountain Bluebird Trails Conservati­on Society is sending out an invitation to their AGM on

Saturday April 6 from 1-4 p.m. at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre. This is a special AGM, as they are celebratin­g their 50th anniversar­y as a society here in southern Alberta. Special Guest speaker will be renowned Alberta naturalist and mountain bluebird expert, Mryna Pearman. Please join them to celebrate this significan­t milestone. • The Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary will be holding their next General Meeting on Tuesday, April 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Legion boardroom. A light luncheon will be held after the meeting.
