ROAST: To all the gas stations in Lethbridge. I recently returned from Medicine Hat after attending a meeting. Why are the gas prices 10 to 15 cents higher in Lethbridge?
TOAST: The Herald’s poll question for Saturday April 6 was “Did Green Shirt Day inspire you to be an organ donor?” The result percentage was a large dismal number of NO. This was a bit disheartening and did not account for the many that already are donors Perhaps it might better have been worded “Were you already an organ donor before Green Shirt Day?” I truly think the percentage of YES would have been so much higher and provided an uplifting more accurate result rather than the downer it was.
ROAST: To Trudeau for his new spending of $111.6 million of our tax dollars for better housing technologies, to modernize homebuilding and to catalog a list of pre-approved homes. This will be nothing more than excessive spending that will possibly balloon into extra out of control spending like the ArriveCan app.
ROAST: To the UCP’s utter failure to manage utilities in Alberta. We have the most expensive electricity rates in the country and nonstop grid alerts. Meanwhile, Mr. Neudorf is on his propaganda tour regaling Albertans on the reliability of our power grid. Danielle Smith spent millions blaming the feds, the NDP, the sun and the wind. Who’s next?
TOAST: To the Boulet family for all you do to spread the word about organ donations. Please everyone sign up to be a donor because you could save the lives of others by your generosity.
TOAST: To our Lethbridge East MLA Mr. Neudorf for shedding light on our electricity system at SACPA. Your presentation was insightful and made very good points about the current situation we are in here. We’re lucky to have you serve our riding.
TOAST: Thanks to the Boulets for the Green Shirt Day skate. You do so much for this city.
ROAST: To gas prices. The
UCP and the Liberals are both to blame for costing us more at the pump when so many of us are already struggling to make ends meet. Cut us some slack! You’re bleeding us out.
ROAST: To Israel. To commit a genocide on another people after what you suffered at the hands of the Nazis is deplorable! Time to get out of Gaza and show the humanity that wasn’t shown to you in World War Two. This war needs to end and all countries need to stop supporting your country until it does.
