Hoping FOR A HOME

MATCHING PETS WITH PEOPLE

-

Kedi and his two brothers, Macka and

Qita, were all dumped on an acreage. Fortunately the land owners were able to catch all three and came to the LCCR for help.

Since coming to us Kedi has been living the good life in a wonderful foster home. His brothers have found their forever homes now and we are hopeful that this sweet Tabby boy will soon be next.

Kedi is a cuddle bug that likes to jump up on the bed to hang out with his foster for some belly rubs and pets. He must have been a real mama’s boy because he tries to nurse on one of the other cats in the house or on fuzzy blankets. (Cats often do this when they are separated from their mothers too soon.) Kedi likes to curl up with one of the older cats a lot and is a great companion. When he’s not cuddled up you can often find him looking out the window or being a typical kitten and splashing his water around or playing with toys. Once he gets all of his energy out he loves to settle down in his safe space which is under a comfy blanket.

If you can provide this adorable boy with his forever home then please submit an application on our website. Note- Because he is still a kitten, Kedi needs to be adopted into a home with another cat or into a home that already has one.

Meet the delightful Hazel, a three-year old Cavapoo on a quest to find her perfect match. Despite a mysterious past, Hazel’s heart is brimming with love, waiting to be shared with the right person or family. While she may need a little time to come out of her shell, once she does, you’ll have a loyal companion by your side for life. Hazel dreams of a tranquil haven, where the hustle and bustle of the outside world fades into serenity. She thrives in calm environments, where patient sould await, ready to earn her trust and build a lasting bond. While she gravitates towards the gentle touch of women, and prefers a kid-free zone, Hazel’s heart would warmly welcome the presence of another furry friend who shares her zest for life. If you are interested in adopting Hazel please visit www.windycitycaninerescue.com and follow the adoption process.

August loves to enjoy life. This dilute orange mancat is three years old and always up for some fun. Fun comes in different shapes for a cat like August. Sometimes, it’s knocking a ball around an empty bathtub. It might be beating up a floppy fish. Those fuzzy mice are always a good time. But what he likes best is the track-ball. Yet fun isn’t always having something on the go. Sometimes, it’s something quiet and still, such as a nap. And when August has his humans close by, life is very good indeed. He might be a little shy around strangers but, as a recent visitor to his house can attest, August will adjust to new people. And he knows that enjoyment can come from being around other cats; we think a feline just as active and fun-loving as August would be a fine playmate. Whatever his situation, August is likely to find something good about it. He’s that kind of guy. Contact PAW at 403-3286700 or on-line at pawsociety.com, and be what August will enjoy the most.

Meet Star! I am one of 9 babies that were rescued in Coaldale, along with our momma! Momma has been adopted already because she is such a sweetheart, and us babies are no different! We love to be petted, love to explore, love to chew cardboard, and love to rearrange our hidey huts.

If you would like to apply to adopt this sweetie, head over to Archie’s Angels Rabbit Rescue website aarr.ca.
