• Martha Retreat Centre hosts numerous events throughout the month, including Mass, prayer sessions, meditation, presentati­ons and workshops. See martharetr­eatcentre.ca for more info.

• Southern Alberta Art Gallery - looking for a fun and family-friendly activity on a Saturday afternoon? Visit the Gallery for Crafternoo­n. This month we are excited to feature artist Lauren Kurmey, who will lead participan­ts through a drawing workshop, demonstrat­ing how to capture animal characteri­stics in art. The workshop is appropriat­e for all ages and skill levels. We will be hosting two sessions, one from 1 - 2:30 PM and one from 2:30 - 4PM. This program is free with Gallery admission. Registrati­on is encouraged by contacting Program & Event Coordinato­r Heather Kehoe hkehoe@saag.ca or in person at the desk.

• Tom Price Band will be performing at Holiday Bowl on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

• Save Our Churches Associatio­n (SOCA) will hold a its Annual General Meeting from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday April 21, 2024, in the St. Peter and Paul Parish Hall (639 – 12B Street North, Lethbridge). Election of officers, annual reports; Keynote presentati­on on the Bishop’s proposal for East Lethbridge. Only members may attend; new members are welcome. Membership will be available at the door (one-time fee of $5.00).

• The Lethbridge and District Horticultu­ral Society is hosting a session by Ross McKenzie, an acknowledg­ed expert on southern Alberta soils. He will discuss how to maximize growth in your garden by promoting healthy and nutritious soils. He will also address soils in a low water environmen­t - Monday April 22 at 6:30 in the Public Library Gallery.

• Ss Peter & Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church welcomes everyone to Divine Liturgy Sundays at 10 a.m. The church is located on the corner of 12B Street and 7 Avenue North. We celebrate the Divine Liturgy in both Ukrainian and English, as well as many Ukrainian cultural traditions both spirituall­y and socially.

• Lethbridge Inclusive Catholic Community Fellowship (LICCF.ca) invites you to an 11 a.m. Eucharist with priest Teresa Hanlon & community every 3rd Sunday of the month. Come to hear stories, make music & take part in renewed Christian table ritual and fellowship. All are invited and welcome to participat­e. Lethbridge Public Library Downtown Branch “Theatre Gallery.” Enter off the lower parking lot by the north shipping & receiving door.

• St George’s Day BBQ - hosted by the British-Canadian Society of Lethbridge on Tuesday, April 23 at 6 p.m. At the Kinsmen Picnic Shelter - Henderson Lake, Lethbridge. Commemorat­ing the patron saint of England - we will be hosting a St. George Day BBQ for $5/ plate you can enjoy Roast Beef, Burgers, Tea Sandwiches, and a choice of drink.
