RCMP arrest three after weapons call

Pincher Creek RCMP on Monday morning responded to a complaint of a dispute involving several people outside of a residence in that community. It was reported there was a firearm involved in the dispute and one person was almost run over by a motor vehicle.

Police attended and made several arrests. As a result of the arrests and follow up investigat­ion, numerous weapons were seized, along with a quantity of methamphet­amines and cocaine.

Brandon Ouellette, 41, of Pincher Creek, has been charged with assault with a weapon, resist arrest, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of prohibited weapons and possession of controlled substance.

After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Brandon Ouellette was released and will be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Pincher Creek on June 6.

Creek, has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of prohibited weapons, possession of a controlled substance and failing to comply with a release order.

Garret Ouellette was on release conditions from several other offences still before the courts. After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, he was remanded and will be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Pincher Creek on Thursday.

A 67-year-old female resident of Pincher Creek has been charged with possession of a controlled Substance for the purpose of traffickin­g. Her first appearance will be in Alberta Court of Justice in Pincher Creek on May 23.
