• Blankets for Canada: Lethbridge meets every Thursday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 at Southminst­er United Church. We welcome volunteers to knit, crochet or sew blankets to join us. Let’s keep Lethbridge warm this winter. We also welcome donations of yarn or material. Drop off at Michaels or Southminst­er.

• Gino: A Child of War is an inspiring docu-drama about Canadian soldiers who discover and care for a five-year-old orphan boy in Second World War Italy.
