City announces board appointees

A list of new public appointees to City of Medicine Hat boards commissions and agencies as voted on by city council members at their Dec. 18, 2017 meeting (terms are three years in length unless otherwise noted):

Arts and Heritage Advisory Board — Aisha Mjuki, Karl Schwonik.

City Centre Development Agency — Bryan de Jong; George Osmond, Maureen Roberts, Colette Smithers, Russel Franks (one-year term).

Combative Sports Commission — Todd Pember.

Heritage Resources Committee — Sally Sehn.

Local Assessment Review Board — Doug Major.

Medicine Hat Public Library Board — Judi Coombs, Jennifer Grier, Avril Torrence, Danielle Swain (two-year term).

Municipal Planning Commission — Loretta Thompson.

Police Commission — Terry Meidinger, Methodius (Ted) Rodych, Mandi Campbell (two-year term).

Social Development Advisory Board — Sheila Donner (two-year-term), Mary Tulip (two-year term).

Subdivision and Development Appeal Board — Jim Taylor.

Urban Environment and Recreation Advisory Board — Dina Jubrak, Mecah Clem, Pat McIntosh.

Youth Advisory Board — Sam Bratvold (two-year term), Sydney Campbell (two-year term), Jackson Moore (twoyear term).
