Feliz NaviDAD 6 p.m. on (103) Arizona high school principal David Morales (Mario Lopez) hasn’t been able to summon the Christmas spirit since losing his wife a few years ago during the holiday season. In fact, he moonlights as a seasonal delivery driver just to keep busy and not think about Christmas. As another yuletide approaches, however, David’s teenage daughter (Paulina Chávez) and live-in sister (Marycarmen Lopez) vow to bring Christmas back into their home, a plan that may enlist the help of Sophie (AnnaLynne McCord), a musician on David’s delivery route.
Masterpiece: 50 Fabulous Years! 8 p.m. on . Alan Cumming hosts this new 90-minute special celebrating the iconic series that has introduced generations of PBS viewers to great British drama since its premiere on Jan. 10, 1971. “Upstairs Downstairs,” “I, Claudius” and “Downton Abbey” are among the programming milestones highlighted from past seasons. Interviews include “Downton Abbey” creator Julian Fellowes; Rebecca Eaton, executive producer of the series for 35 years; and actors Robin Ellis (the original “Poldark”), Derek Jacobi (title star of “I, Claudius”) and Phyllis Logan (Mrs. Hughes in “Downton Abbey”).
The Angel Tree 8 p.m. on 7 Hallmark-movie staple Jill Wagner is no stranger to holiday stories — see: “Karen Kingsbury’s Maggie’s Christmas Miracle,” “Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa,” etc. — and she revisits the genre in this 2020 drama as a writer determined to solve the mystery of an anonymous person who makes others’ wishes come true. Her pursuit of that individual’s identity puts her back on the radar of a friend from childhood (Lucas Bryant, “Haven”) ... and do not be surprised if love eventually is in the air.
