MLA Drew Barnes will say and do just about anything to get a headline. It’s become obnoxious and so obvious. Spend more time representing your constituents’ real needs such as investments in infrastructure, education, jobs and things as simple as putting food on the table. We aren’t stupid. Pandering doesn’t work anymore.

Absolutely tickled pink by the Santa Claus fund parade last night. It was a lovely display and wonderful to see so many people lined up on the streets (at safe distances) and I feel the Christmas spirit.

So MLA Barnes believes he should be appointed Minister of Autonomy? It would be much less expensive for Alberta taxpayers if he would just sever his ties with the UCP. He would then be as autonomous as he likes.

I’m not too optimistic that we will see any of the COVID vaccines in the Hat anytime soon, as we live in the forgotten corner of the province. Maybe we’ll be surprised though. Fingers crossed!
