Daily COVID update

There are 30 new deaths reported by the province as a result from COVID-19. A total of 790 Albertans have now died from the virus.

Medicine Hat has 84 active cases, with four new and five new recoveries listed.

Cypress County sits at 12 cases. Forty Mile is at one.

Lethbridge is down to 196 active cases, while Brooks has 34. Taber is at 28.

Calgary is at 6,114 active cases, while Edmonton has 7,707.

There were 1,571 new cases on 19,800 tests. Positivity rate is at 7.9% in the province.

There are 763 people in hospital, including 138 in ICU.

There are 19,865 active cases in the province.
