“Movie: Palm Springs”

“Elementary”

All seven seasons of the CBS 2012-19 crime drama that stars Jonny Lee MIller as legendary detective Sherlock Holmes, reimagined as a Scotland Yard consultant and recovering addict living in modernday New York, comes to the streaming service. Lucy Liu plays his companion, Dr. Joan Watson, with Aidan Quinn, Jon Michael Hill and John Noble also in the cast.

“Movie: The Lodge”

Strange and terrifying events plague a soon-to-be stepmother (Riley Keough, “The Girlfriend Experience”) and her fiance’s two children when they are snowed in at a remote cabin during Christmas in this 2019 horror tale. Lia McHugh, Richard Armitage and Alicia Silverstone are also in the cast for codirectors Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala (“Goodnight Mommy”).

“Movie: Sylvie’s Love”

Eugene Ashe (“Homecoming”) wrote and directed this romantic drama about two friends — a jazz saxophonist (Nnamdi Asomugha, “Crown Heights”) and a TV producer (Tessa Thompson, “Dear White People”) — who reunite after years to find that while their lives have gone in different directions, their feelings for each other remain the same.
