Chad Flinn is now leading the School of Trades and Technology at Medicine Hat College.

Flinn was last working at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and has 11 years experience as an electrical instructor at British Columbia Institute of Technology.

“For years the trades has been the best kept secret in the career world but that secret is out. The field requires management skills as well as leadership and people skills, just as much as the practical skills we develop,” he said in a release from the college. “We need people with problem solving skills, and the ability to work with others.”

Flinn holds a Master of Arts in Learning and Technology from Royal Roads University, completed the Provincial Instructor

Diploma Program at Vancouver Career College, and is a journeyman electrician.
