Kenney entering Redford territory

-

Dear editor,

Mr. Jim Groom’s comment, “the Premier can’t remove them (MLAs) from office,” is partially true. Just the same as the constituency would have to wait until the next election to vote them out. The Premier or leader of the party can refuse to sign the nomination papers and Kenney did refuse several people’s nomination papers. Even revoked some candidates after some controversy surfaced.

The biggest problem Albertans are facing is, “it’s only the will of the UCP members that can refuse and remove Kenney as the leader.” There is always the possibility of a revolt from the UCP caucus, much the same as what the PCs did to Redford.

Let’s hope the former happens and happens before Kenney totally destroys Alberta in principle and Albertans in spirit.
