Vacation anger overblown

Dear editor,

Why is everyone frothing at the mouth and raising a hue and cry because some politicians crossed the border?

Thousands of Canadians cross the border every day by road and air, so what? What is the big deal about politicians doing it?

A truck can come into Canada with a load of “essential” big-screen TVs, is that more important than someone’s mental health? Plus, it is not against the law to cross the border, it is just “recommended” to remain at home. I just wonder if the noisy rabble rousing twitterati are just jealous because someone had the intestinal fortitude to stand up to them and do their own thing.
