This new original Lifetime docudrama charts the careers of the groundbreaking hip-hop duo from their early days when Cheryl “Salt” James (G.G. Townson) and Sandra “Pepa” Denton (Laila Odom) were students at New York’s Queensborough Community College. The film chronicles how the duo changed the look of hiphop on their way to becoming the first women in that genre to go platinum and earn multiple awards. Cleveland Berto, Monique Paul and Jermel Howard also star.
