Cozens key in Sabres win
Lethbridge Hurricanes product scores in victory over Rangers
Buffalo captain Jack Eichel’s first goal of the season gave him some relief and provided a lift for the Sabres.
Eichel, Dylan Cozens and Tobias Rieder scored for Buffalo, which rallied for a 3-2 win over the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.
Chris Kreider and K’ Andre Miller scored first-period goals for the Rangers.
Cozens’ goal came on the power-play goal at 12:50 of the second.

WINNIPEG — Andrew Copp scored twice and added as many helpers to guide Winnipeg past Edmonton.
Nikolaj Ehlers followed up with a goal and three assists for the Jets.
Darnell Nurse had three assists for Edmonton in the loss. Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins each added a goal and an assist.

WASHINGTON — Justin Schultz scored the go-ahead goal with 26.4 seconds left, Vitek Vanecek made 32 saves and Washington beat New York despite another injury to a key player.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Patric Hornqvist scored the tying goal with three seconds left in regulation and had the game winner in a shootout as Florida beat Columbus.
