Flood mitigation continues
Work is taking place in Harlow with trees removed to make way for the construction of a permanent berm. On Monday morning only signs and equipment were in place, and by Thursday significant progress had been made near Harris Street and Finlay Court. The berm will continue further east behind a number of homes through to Seventh Avenue SW (just off First Street) where a lift station will also be closed and pipes placed inside the berm to a lift station on Harris Street.
