Black Lightning
7 p.m. on AE The superhero series returns for its fourth and final season, delivering more adventures for high school counselor Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) and his alter ego Black Lightning. Former series regular Damon Gupton won’t be returning, having wrapped his role as Billy Henderson in Season 3. The season premiere, “The Book of Reconstruction: Chapter One,” finds Pierce still mourning Billy’s death, while Gambi (James Remar) gets an interesting opportunity. Meanwhile, Lynn (Christine Adams) and Pierce still have some issues to work out. China Anne McClain also stars.
