Romany Malco (“A Million Little Pieces”) wrote, directed and stars in this modestly budgeted 2020 comedy in which he plays the title role, a former prison inmate who recently has won parole. Resolving to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a motivational speaker, TJ can’t resist chasing a tempting opportunity that prompts him to violate his parole, abandoning his family and community. His only path to redemption lies in selfless service to the people he left behind. Regina Hall also stars.
