Bronks and Honky Tonks Indoor Rodeo postponed, committee hopeful for the fall

-

The annual Broncs and Honky Tonks Spring Indoor Rodeo will take place at a later date than initially planned, the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede has announced.

The event was scheduled to take place April 9-11, however current restrictions brought on by the pandemic have prompted the Stampede’s rodeo committee to postpone Broncs and Honky Tonks until the fall.

“With the current restrictions placed on indoor gatherings by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, we will not be able to host the rodeo in a usual format,” reads a release from the Stampede. “Rest assured, the Rodeo committee is working with Alberta Health Services to be able to hold a rodeo in the fall of 2021. We are hopeful for fall dates and will announce the new dates at a later time.”
