That some people are averse to vaccinations like measles and COVID-19 which have proven to be very effective, have saved thousands of lives and have few side affects. They then smoke, drink, take Tylenol and other over the counter drugs which have a lot of side affects. Get you and your children vaccinated.

Good weather brings out loud motors run by juvenile minded males. Ask any female if she appreciates them. The answer will be no. A motor that runs smooth and quiet sounds rich and that it is run by a mature person. Think about it.

Utilities seem to be a really hot item and I dislike the cost as much as anyone but have you compared costs in other cities and other provinces to what we pay? I have and we are slightly better than most.

I love the start of Daylight Savings Time! Sure, I missed that extra hour of sleep this morning, but I will adapt and I’ll get it back later this fall. For now I can enjoy the extra hour of daylight every day after supper.

Pleased to see a 22-year-old Nova Scotia man was charged for allegedly starting NS’s largest-ever wildfire that burned for one month last summer. This crime should be an automatic 25 years in the clink.

I’m ticked off at our city council. Most are there just for the lime light and money, rubber stamping everything the city manager puts in front of them. The only one that really cares and stands up for the citizens is the mayor.

The upcoming Traveling gold and silver buyers that will be coming to our town are noted for only paying a fraction of what they should.
Know the price of what you are selling before you attend there show. There are local people in this city who will pay far more than what they offer. These traveling company’s are from Ontario and Quebec. At the least support Alberta.

Proud of the brave group that protested against the UCP antitrans policies last weekend. Thank you for standing in the cold to show the LGBTQ+ community that they are supported in this city. To the person ticked off by it and telling them to protest at Danielle Smith’s office, City Hall is a public space on a highly visible intersection. Look, it worked! They got your attention which is exactly what they wanted to do. Be seen.

I have very recently moved back to The Hat after 12 years elsewhere in other places. This place is better than ever and I feel like we’ve won the lottery. With the overall cost of living here as opposed to other places. People, stop whining, you have to experience other areas to know this city is great.

Interesting to see Coalspur Mining has started construction near Hinton without the necessary permits. But hey, this is Alberta where money is more important than the environment.

Tickled Pink the Premier announced the twinning of Highway 3 from Burdett to Taber. Oh wait, didn’t the UCP party announce that about four or five years ago and reannounced it over and over like it is new news? I’m glad they are doing it but quit announcing it like it is new news.

Tickled Pink with the man in Germany that received 217 COVID-19 vaccinations and allowed researchers to assess and do tests on him. He did not die, get blood clots or have any other side effects. Nor did he contract the virus. The 217 microchips must have made it easy to find him.

Very happy to see the city allowing for more high/medium density developments. The developments in the Harlow should be the first of many approved. These offer a place for young people, seniors, people with disabilities and anyone who doesn’t want a single family home to purchase property, all while exponentially growing the tax base.
