The Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta is seeking volunteers willing to dedicate time to making a difference they say truly matters on the board of directors.

The foundation is looking for people who would be willing to serve for a full three year term with the possibility of another consecutive term.

“It’s an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge, gain practical experience in effective board functioning, and establish valuable professional connections. Your involvement will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for the people of Southeastern Alberta through permanent endowments, responsible grants, and inspiring community leadership initiatives,” said CFSEA in a press release.

Board members will be asked to commit to roughly five volunteer hours a month, as well as lend their skills and expertise to further advancing the Foundation’s goals and cause.

“CFSEA is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the people of Southeastern Alberta by developing permanent endowments, making responsible grants, and inspiring community leadership,” said CFSEA.

As a non-governmental, non-political, and non-religious independent organization, CFSEA operates under the guidance of a diverse group of community-minded volunteer Board of Directors. CFSEA’s mission is to create meaningful connections between donors and local charities for the permanent benefit of Southeastern Alberta.

Board members are asked to attend one monthly meeting, as well as take part in at least one CFSEA committee aligned with their interests and expertise, as they serve as an ambassador for the foundation and their programs.

Applicants interested in contributing to the mission and operations of CFSEA are invited to submit a letter of interest outlining their passion for community involvement and their relevant business knowledge to Kyle Pudwell, at board@cfsea.ca, by April 15.
