Ticked Off

People are still complaining about taking a reliable dose of a vaccine against the COVID strain. I have gotten my shots for the past three years and have had no sort of negative reactions. Actually the opposite, as the cold virus is less serious.

Ticked Off

Danielle Smith is not the

MLA for area of Highway 3. People who are hip-hip-hooraying her for the planned twinning are out of their minds if that’s what they think. This was in the works years before she was brought in as the premier.

Ticked Off

Really — one hour time change creates that much havoc in your life that you can’t function? Better move to Saskatchewan.

Tickled Pink

Nice to hear our MLA advocating for improved highways in our neck of the woods while in the legislature. I’m not sure his reference to current federal government members as “eco nut jobs” will sit well with so many huggers of trees, but I don’t think he’s wrong and I wholeheartedly applaud his choice of words.

Ticked Off

When I hear, “You’re not like us,” or “Go back to your homeland.” Canada as a country is mostly immigrants. So next time you hear this from someone, probably a white person, say, “After you.” Canadian is a Canadian no matter colour of skin, language, religion.

Ticked Off

All we hear is the world’s problems are Liberals’ or Justin Trudeau’s fault. Quite impressed he has that much power.

Ticked Off

With people wasting food by thinking the best-before date is the expired date. It is not. There should be a law that the expiry date be printed below the best-before date. Government reps, take heed.

Saving Time. It is so nice to have extra daylight in the evening, it’s so up lifting. We should stay on DST all year round. Love, love, love it.

Tickled Pink

At the mayor standing up for the residents and questioning the bad decision of the city administration even when not popular with other council. Taxes are high, utilities are crazy and we are all struggling, and yet administration makes their own rules and isn’t accountable. Thank you, mayor, because the administration isn’t transparent and I have no faith they are making good decisions, so please keep fighting for us.

Ticked Off

So annoying to see our local news anchor care more about himself than the local stories that need to be told in our community.

Ticked Off

Please just stop it. DST is no big deal. In March you set your clock ahead one hour at about 9 p.m. and go to bed as usual at 10, 11 or 12. In the fall, you fall back one hour — oh bliss, oh rapture, oh happiness devine — and get an extra hour of sleep. Is that really so hard?

Ticked Off

How will pumping more tax dollars into health care increase the number of doctors? It takes years to train them, and it’s not like they’re sitting somewhere waiting for a job.

Ticked Off

Received my utility bill today. Gas plus charges $179.45. Carbon charge $107.93. Where is this going to end? Another increase April 1. Time for a change.

Ticked Off

People riding e-bikes on trails need to respect others on the trail. First, buy a bell. Second, it’s not a race. Respect slower traffic from hikers and non-e-bike riders. Ride slower and announce your presence.

Ticked Off

I recently attended the rock musical the local group did. While the show was excellent, I was very disappointed to see them giving the crybaby former mayor a platform to cry about losing the election. If they are going to get into politics then maybe it’s time to stop going to their shows.

Ticked Off

That the premier ran on a platform of decreasing management costs in the public sector, and yet the college in her own riding is adding an entire layer of mid management positions. Perhaps Nenshi will be more fiscally responsible. Time to change my vote.

Tickled Pink

A few weeks ago, travelling back from Lethbridge, I saw graceful wind turbines twirling in the big blue prairie sky. Loved it!

Ticked Off

It’s ridiculous the witch hunt both Calgary and Medicine Hat city councils are subject to. Before the day of Facebook and other internet settings we acted like adults and said our peace behind closed doors. There was no need for an audience to make ourselves look bigger than we are. Today they consider themselves experts in fields they haven’t got the whole picture to. Stupid ought to hurt.

Ticked Off

With Premier Smith. She continues to push her ideology.

Now she wants to bring partisan politics to the municipal level. The Municipal Association doesn’t want it, but of course she doesn’t listen. I will vote for the independent on municipal ballot. I expect them to work with whomever it is that is in power in Edmonton.

Tickled Pink

Chuckling at our prime minister who feels convicted to “do the right thing” but has repeatedly shown a disregard for any sense of morality that was held by generations prior to him. I think he just makes up his own.

Ticked Off

I find that I am going to give up membership with UCP and take a membership with the NDP. I feel the UCP is hurting my province, Alberta, and I can no longer support UCP. My future dictates me to do this to save my Alberta.

Ticked Off

At anyone on this planet who sees their bank account regularly and honestly doesn’t know they are receiving extra money to their account. So sorry you are a prime suspect for a scam. Sure wouldn’t admit to that, makes you look very, very gullible.

Tickled Pink

With the “Donald’s” brilliant play against media that lies. It’s all starting to crumble!
