Adorah Homes Hat’s top home builder four years

Adorah Homes continues to be Medicine Hat’s top trusted home builder.

The family run business has claimed their fourth straight victory of the

Best of Medicine Hat’s home builder category. It’s a selection Adrian Potorti says is an honour and makes their job easier.

“It really helps to be able to hand that off to our customers or potential customers,” Potorti said. “We’re a small, family run business. It’s just my wife and I and our sub trade. So it’s a great honour to be recognized again.”

While the Best of Medicine Hat victory sticker brings a sense of pride to the business and showcases their hard work, it doesn’t compare to handing over the keys to new homeowners after collaborating on a new build. Potorti says it also helps them find new work as aspiring home builders see they can be trusted from start to finish.

“It’s actually really handy for financing with custom homes,” Potorti said. “Banks want to make sure their investment is protected. When they’re investing through you with one of their clients, they want to make sure that the client is getting a reputable builder. Not one that’s just a fly by night outfit. So this actually helps them a lot.”

When you’re named the best it’s easy for complacency to kick in but Potorti says they’re stepping up their game in 2024. He says they are going to the next level when it comes to custom homes on top of their spec homes. He says they’re adding some more custom builds to their repertoire and collection while still building their specs.

“Lots of times we do a log of spec homes and this year, we have a couple of really, really nice big, really fancy custom builds on top of our regular back houses,” Potorti said.
