Leon’s maintains focus on community and service

-

Medicine Hat’s Leon’s is no stranger to victory, having been voted the best appliance store in the city for several years in a row, but manager Trina Towner is ecstatic for herself and her team to be bringing home gold across the board this year.

“We had won mattresses a couple years ago, and home decor. But this is the first year we won all the categories, which is pretty, pretty exciting for us,” said Towner.

This year, Leon’s has taken the crown as #1 appliance store, furniture store, mattress store, and home decor, marking new heights of achievement for the family-owned and operated franchise.

The location was also named Leon’s franchise store of the year for 2022.

Towner feels that what sets the location apart is likely that they “do it all,” spanning any and all home needs.

“You can do your whole house at one stop,” said Towner. “And our sales associates are extremely knowledgeable. So they find you the best product that suits what you’re looking for, and make sure you’re getting the best value for that product.”

Leon’s also prides itself on a relaxed, caring atmosphere, both inside and outside of the store itself; be it from their local warehouse in Dunmore, allowing customers to get what they need with a quick turnaround, to their dedication to being a part of the greater community.

“It’s really important to us that we always give back to our community,” said Towner. “We try to really do that a lot, to be a big presence in town, whether it be fundraisers and events and different things that go on. We try to really support everyone like they’ve supported us.”

Towner expressed her deep gratitude on behalf of herself and her team at Leon’s for Medicine Hat’s ongoing support.
