Boys and girls ranging in age from 3 to 14 have the chance to enjoy eight weeks of summer fun at Champions, beginning June 25 through Aug. 17 (although two-week sessions are also available). “At Champions we truly believe that each age group is unique, as is each camper,” said Jess Roszler, co-director with her father, Bill. “Therefore, Champions offers a wide range of weekly age-appropriate activities for campers to choose from. It allows each camper to play sports all day, such as soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, gymnastics, track and field, football, floor hockey, ice hockey, and figure skating, and the option to mix and match one or more of our diversified arts and performing arts activities, like arts and crafts, drama and Broadway theatre productions, video and dance workshops, visits from animals and reptilians, and of course the option to take a break and visit our onsite beach. In addition to all of these activities, each of our campers will partake in daily Red Cross swim instruction at their current level and free swim periods throughout the camp week.”

In honour of the London Olympics this summer, Champions is offering an Olympicsrelated program. “This summer, Champions is going for gold,” Jess Roszler said. “From the wonder of the opening ceremonies to the excitement of participating in all of our favourite summer and winter sports, and the option to add many artistic programs and celebrations, the Champions community will be celebrating the spirit and sportsmanship that is the goal of the Olympic Games. Olympians know how to dream – they have found a personal passion and are focused on striving for gold. We believe that all children should have the right to feel like a champion, too.”
