Prince’s pal fights back after nightclub brawl

- DOUG CAMILLI camillimail@gmail.com

The spin-doctoring is in full swing, with lawyers circling, after that trust-fund-babies punch-up in New York the other night.

You must have seen the story: Prince Pierre Casiraghi of Monaco, Aussie swimsuit model Jessica Hart, her shipping-heir boyfriend Stavros Niarchos III and others got into a weehours brawl with nightclub owner Adam Hock, at the Double Seven saloon in Manhattan’s trendy Meatpacking District.

When the dust cleared, the prince – Grace Kelly’s grandson, by the way – had a broken jaw, his buddies were banged up and Hock was facing charges.

Now he claims he’s the victim, but Jessica scoffs at that on Twitter, calling him a “freaky liar.”

Hock’s lawyer says the sur- veillance tape will support his client.

Prince Pete is 24; Hart is 25; Hock is 47.

There’s been a lot of buzz about Natalie Portman and her ballet-dancer fiancé, Benjamin Millepied, wearing what looked like wedding rings at the Oscars.

His was plain; she had two bands with diamonds to wear with her engagement ring.

Now jeweller Jamie Wolf, Ben’s pal, has confirmed to an anxious world that these are indeed wedding rings. She didn’t say the two had done the deed, but if they’re wearing the rings …

Of course, the bands are politically correct, “made with recycled platinum and conflict-free diamonds,” Wolf said.

Natalie’s 30; Ben is 34. Their son Aleph was born last June. Spotlight couple: British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, the BBC’S latest incarnation of Sherlock Holmes, has a “very close” friendship with Patty Hearst’s lingeriemodel daughter Lydia, the Telegraph says.

(Don’t know who Patty Hearst is? Ask an old person, or Google. She was quite a story in her day.)

It’s a boy for Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck – their third child and first son. No name yet. All are well.

He’s a baby brother for Seraphina, 3, and Violet, 6.

Butter-loving celebrity chef – well, cook – Paula Deen has reformed some since she was given a diagnosis of diabetes.

The other day, she chose an event at a Miami food festival – where she was feeding fried chicken, waffles and strawberry margarita mousse to her fans (few of them skinny) – to make this announcement: She has dropped two pant sizes since the diagnosis.

If the eaters had heard that, she might never have got out alive. Cruel but fair: Actress Kate Walsh watched the Oscars, then tweeted some mockery of her colleagues and competitors who were on stage: “Dear Hollywood actresses, stop (bad word)-ing up your faces, it’s looking like the bar scene in Star Wars.”

Blake Lively did not, after all, land the “young Carrie Bradshaw” role in the pending Sex and the City prequel movie. Somebody named Annasophia Robb did.

Me neither, but she was Violet in the 2005 Tim Burton movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She’s kind of lean and blond and curvy like Sarah Jessica Parker. And she certainly qualifies for the young part; she’s 18.

Blake, at 24, was told she’s too old, the Daily Mail says. SJP is 102.
