SNC-LAVALIN SIGNS PACT WITH PVDSA

International engineers Snc-lavalin Group Inc. said Wednesday it has signed a $133-million project management contract with Petroleos

de Venezuela SA covering the Delta Caribe Oriental Project and development of its four offshore gas fields and onshore infrastructure. Snc-lavalin’s team will supervise the work of contractors providing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services. The contract award follows years of studies for the project, PVDSA said. Initial mobilization of the management teams is already under way.
