How much does Jen spend on her looks?
Jennifer Aniston is denying the claim, in England’s Daily Mail, that she spends more than $140,000 a year on cosmetics, skin treatments, fitness training and the like.
The paper tallied up her $450 neck ointment, her private yoga lessons, her $295 “laser peels” (some skin thing, I think), her hair guy Chris Mcmillan at $600 a time, her nutritionist, etc., etc., and got that total.
But now Jen tells People mag that “I am a sucker for an amazing moisturizer, love a great facial, have been using the same cleansing bar since I was a teenager and have always been a dedicated tooth-brusher,” but still, the reports of all that spending “are greatly exaggerated. By my tally, this month I’m in for about $200” for cosmetics.
She’s 43.
Charlize Theron went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show in L.A. to talk about her chosen child, Jackson. The South African actress announced the adoption last week; news reports say the child is African-american.
She said she likes wrapping him up: “I didn’t think I would be a fan of the swaddling, but the swaddling is pretty amazing. It sort of looks a bit like a straitjacket – you’re like, ‘Is this child abuse?’ – but for some reason they just love it.”
She’s 36. Jackson is four months. No, really, just shut up: Karl Lagerfeld in Harper’s Bazaar: “I wear a long, fulllength white shirt, in a material called poplin imperial, made for me by Hilditch & Key in Paris after a design of a 17th-century men’s nightshirt I saw at the Victoria and Albert Museum.”
Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, has had plenty of drug trouble, but simple possession of cocaine is not much of an offence, apparently, in Aspen, Colo.: a court there has accepted her guilty plea but let her go with probation only.
A related assault charge – this is all about a nightclub brawl last December – was dropped for lack of evidence.

Woody Allen usually doesn’t reveal the working title – if there is one – while he’s making a movie. But his next one, due out June 22, is now on its third name.

Daniel Craig, who married Rachel Weisz last June, is now filming Skyfall, the next James Bond movie. The cutie is France’s Bérénice Marlohe, and after the sex scenes, England’s Daily Star newspaper reports, Dan has to report back to Rachel.
Mercifully, we don’t know exactly what he reports. But the paper’s source says that, “In most of the hot bed scenes (Bérénice) is naked except for a tiny thong.
“It’s no wonder he’s been telling everyone on set he has to tell the missus every time they do ‘one of those closeups.’ ”
He’s 44. Rachel is 42. Bérénice is 32.
