Symphonia condo towers add a new note to Montreal’s skyline

-

The iconic Symphonia tower that will grace the Montreal skyline is moving into a new phase as it continues to beckon residents to this Nuns’ Island oasis.

Symphonia 1, at the island’s southern tip, redefines high-end condo living while celebrating Montreal’s natural heritage, and will welcome its first residents by the summer of 2013.

It’s easy to picture yourself living in style, with the waters of the St. Lawrence, the scintillating lights of the city and the lush greenery of the Île des Soeurs golf course providing stunning panoramic views from your home. But you don’t have to imagine it: A simple visit to the three-floor, 3,000-square-foot Symphonia sales office will put you right in the heart of the action, where you can drink in stunning vistas from rooms that you could call your own.

More than 80 per cent of the superb high-end units have already been sold, according to the developer’s regional director François Lapierre. There are still one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments available, as well as one penthouse.

With prices starting at $309,000, your dream condo is as close as your next short drive to Nuns’ Island. This i ncredible $70-million project beckons scores of people who seek unprecedented luxury and exclusivity adjacent to a pristine natural environment, mere minutes from downtown Montreal.

Private patios and breathtaking 360-degree views from apartments bathed in lavish natural light are a rare luxury in a large urban centre. They embody a lifestyle that seamlessly joins refined upscale living with natural beauty.

Phase 2 condominiums are scheduled to go on sale early next year, says Lapierre, adding that the second building will retain the same contemporary motif of urban and marine-inspired facades enveloped in sky-reflecting glass, boasting the international panache of its contemporaries in New York, London and Vancouver. The distinctive contours and blue sail vision will be echoed in Symphonia 2, which will rise boldly 30 storeys above the St. Lawrence River, making it the tallest and most prestigious tower in this tranquil and bucolic sector of the island’s southern end.

In designing the new phase, Lapierre continues, Développements Symphonia is adhering to its proven model of exceeding the expectations of the most discerning homebuyers who seek the crossroads of comfort and luxury. “We are presently in the strategic planning stages to develop a product that will respond to our clientele’s dreams and desires.” That i ncludes an unrelenting demand for large luxury units.

With regard to cost, Symphonia 2 units will be priced according to Développements Symphonia’s client-centred approach, offering “competitive prices with strong added value.”

That value includes a palpable pride of ownership that comes upon entering the iconic towers. The Grand Hotel-style lobby link- ing the two phases with a majestic glass hall and unparalleled views from the very first floors also leads to the beautiful celebrated bicycle path taking residents from their doorsteps around Île des Soeurs.

The condo towers’ amenities are a Développements Symphonia signature feature. Residents will enjoy heated indoor and outdoor pools; a guest suite, reception room and catering-ready kitchen; a sauna and an aerobics and fitness centre; a games room, courtyard, gardens and more — all under 24-hour security surveillance.

After ascending the magnificent towers in ultra-quiet elevators, residents enjoy apartments with a plethora of high-end finishes, including water-cooled central air-conditioning and heat recovery, porcelain tiles, engineered or exotic wood flooring, and ceilings that are nine — in some cases 11 — feet high. This is all in response to market demand.

In Symphonia, condo owners discover their residential oasis. The quality and luxurious finishes, unparalleled views through floor-to-ceiling windows, and all the features of high-end condo living are a testament to Montreal-based Développements Symphonia’s capacity to identify and develop promising realestate projects, executed with style, grace and value.
