STAFF STOP SUICIDE AT SHOOTING RANGE

EDMONTON — Police say staff risked their own safety when they scuffled with a man who was trying to take his own life at an Edmonton shooting range. The man is recovering from a neck wound after the Tuesday night incident at the range inside West Edmonton Mall. Investigat­ors say he rented a handgun and tried to use it commit suicide. Shots were fired and the distraught man was hit, but no one else was hurt.
