Why waste time and energy on greedy NHL?

I am confused. Throughout this ridiculous NHL lockout, all of our sports stations/newspapers keep us posted on what’s being said and what is at the root of the problem. I get that it’s important, but all the while there is a ton of hockey still being played. Right down the road in Montreal we have the McGill Redmen, who won the national university championship in 2012. Put them on TSN! I don’t want to see or even hear any more about these series from the 1970s or see the high stick on Doug Gilmour from Wayne Gretzky that might have sent the Leafs to the Stanley Cup in ’93. I would rather watch a Quebec CEGEP game or Boston College against Boston University live any day of the week. Hockey has been a huge influence on my life and I am so disappointed that we are giving these guys our time and energy to listen to their greedy demands when there are much more fun and entertaining options to watch.
