Feels very Madiran-like, with gritty tannins, dark fruit and a slight meaty note, but with some nice lift to the aromatics. Needs some time in a carafe, so give it a few hours to open up. Serve at 18 C. Drink now-2014. Food pairing idea: roast beef.
