HUMPHRIES CONTINUES BOBSLED DOMINATION

Canada’s Kaillie Humphries continued her domination of the World Cup bobsled circuit Friday, claiming her eighth straight victory and her second win of the season on European soil. Humphries, from Calgary, and rookie brakeman Chelsea Valois of Zenon Park, Sask., posted the fastest time in both heats. Jenny Ciochetti of Edmonton and Emily Baadsvik of St. Stephen, N.B., were 12th. Latvia’s Martins Dukurs won the men’s skeleton, winning for his fourth win this year. Eric Neilson, of Kelowna, B.C., was eighth, Jon Montgomery of Russell, Man., was ninth and Calgary’s John Fairbairn was 12th.
